"THANK YOU" So.... another season over already!  A very big THANK YOU to all our customers, old and new, who made their way to us this year.  I can't tell you how happy it made us that, despite not staying at the Dunas Apartments, how many people still came along to see us. Another big THANK YOU to our staff this year - Debs, Floss & Lucie who worked so hard.  Debs is now back home with her family in the UK but will be back with us again next year. Floss is busy skiing down mountains in France at ridiculous speeds and Lucie has enjoyed a visit back to England.  As for Mark & I - we have been enjoying ourselves relaxing in Portugal before we head off to France in time for Christmas.		My last big THANK YOU goes to all those customers who bought calendars and made donations to help the animals up at the sanctuary.  It is so lovely to go up there and see, as a direct result of your donations, that all the donkeys and horses are wearing fly masks and there are so many more kennels to give the dogs shelter - especially now the cold, rainy nights are on their way. I think that the bright green lilo which was given to the bar to auction off paid for a kennel all on it's own thanks to those customers who bid so generously for it but refused to take it away!  Thank you!
We're Not Moving On! Many of you will know that we thought we had a buyer for the bar.  The sale didn't go through and whilst we were looking forward to travelling and having more adventures, we both know that we actually have the best job in the world!  We are in a beautiful place with so many lovely customers that we look forward to seeing again and again so we are putting our energy into refurbishing the bar and looking forward to enjoying next summer!
	2011 Calendars I've been busy taking photos for the 2011 Calendars. The "Animal Calendar" is now completed with some cute little puppies. some animals "hanging out" at the Sanctuary and our own little Tilly who some of you may have met already when she was a little stray on the streets by our bar. I haven't yet completed the "Alvor Calendar" and any suggestions of your favourite Alvor places which would make a nice photo for the calendar would be welcome!
Skiing Anybody? If you would like to come and join Floss and ourselves for a holiday in the beautiful French Alps, it would be great to see you!
